Care

Taking good care of your garments means taking care of the planet.

Wash at low temperatures and choose gentle spin cycles to help preserve fabric color, shape, and structure — while reducing energy consumption.

How to take care of your upcycle piece

  • Hand wash gently in cold water.
  • Use mild, non-bio detergent.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not bleach.
  • Reshape and air dry flat or on a hanger, away from direct sunlight.
  • Due to the delicate and vintage nature of the fabric, occasional loose threads, tiny imperfections, small holes, or signs of wear are normal and part of the fabric’s character.

Handle with care, and love it for its story.

Ayoune was born in a moment of awe during our founder’s journeys across continents and cultures. Francesca’s voyage through artisans’ villages of India, Indonesia, and Thailand ignited a vision: to create clothing that honors both the wearer and the maker. What started as a collection of unique finds transformed into a celebration of global craftsmanship. Each discovery, from intricately block-printed textiles to hand-loomed fabrics, revealed the magic that unfolds when traditional techniques are renewed with contemporary Mediterranean designs.
